Arthur Edward Waite and the Kabbalah

Here I argue that Arthur Edward Waite's understanding of the "mysteries of sex" at the heart of Jewish kabbalah was based upon events in his intimate personal life that found symbolic expression in an extremely rare book he published together with his friend Arthur Machen: The House of the Hidden Light.
